The cdv measures about 2 1/2 by 4 inches and the photographer's mark is on the front below the image. The card is plain with rounded corners. The reverse is blank. The condition is good. Light to medium foxing or toning from age.

Authentic antique carte de visite of a lady in a day dress with ribbon trimmed bodice yoke and sleeves. She is wearing dangle/drop earrings. The photographer and the location are unknown but she is in the US. This dates to the mid to late 1860s.

Authentic antique carte de visite of a Civil War couple. The lady is in a plain day dress and the gentleman is in a frock coat and vest. Their cheeks are tinted pink. The photographer is S. F. Dubois of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The tax stamp on the reverse was cancelled in 1864.
