Notes: You have C. C. Cook listed in Little Rock, which was correct for a while. He also operated before and after that in Ft Smith AR. This is a transition piece. I find no records for the Cook & Bergeron Studio, and this is obviously Cook taking over that studio. Ewbank lists Cook starting out in 1878 and moving to Ft. Cooper died before 1920 when his widow Tillie and daughter Hazel were shown renting a house on Emmet St. in the city. Cooper had two children, Charlie E. Cooper born 1886 in IL and Hazel D. Cooper born 1890 in MI. See 1900 Fed Census MI.

Charles Edwin Cooper was the younger son of William and Julia C. (Farnsworth) (Ravlin) Cooper and brother of James Courtland Cooper, a well-known Chicago singing teacher.  William Cooper was a first cousin of James Fenimore Cooper.
